Right now I’m at that stage of, “potentially in a day or two I will be sick”. I’m tired, I can feel everything starting to hurt and I had trouble waking up this morning – and that’s probably the first sign that something isn’t quite right.

For the first time in my life I was told that I have a small veins and that they keep on moving. I’m actually quite surprised that I didn’t end up with huge bruises in both elbows after the nurse was done with me.

The cold-of-doom of 2016, if you don’t remember my previous complaints about it, was marked by two straight days of sleeping, loads of snot, coughing and then a completely lost voice. Loads of fun – let’s never do that again.
