I had the strangest dreams last night – not scary but weird and a bit uncomfortable, like talking to a great-great-aunt you’ve only met once when you were 3.

Spoke briefly to my elderly neighbour last night, said that this year I seem to be doing fine with the heat, said it must be the fact that it’s my fourth summer here… and then she reminded me that it’s just June starting and we’ve already had multiple days at almost 40C. Right. The first round of the elections is right around the corner and the only thing I’m sure of is to who I will not be voting for. I do not like this uncertainty at all.

I realised yesterday that the first Semana Santa processions will already start this week. Friday for the processions in the villages and Sunday for the intra-Sevilla ones. Time flies, just the other week we were in January!
